Better than I thought they would! I was really terrified for them when we got to -50, turns out they're pretty hardy chickens! Did your flock handle it well?

They are not really liking the thunder so much, It really upsets the ducks. But they are getting used to it. As for the cold, I don't really know yet. the were still in the brooder, then they were moved outside in the beginning of May. I'm more worried about the Runner Duck I have than anything else. They don't really like change too much, but I guess we will have to see. Also Billing rarely gets that cold (thank goodness). -50 is pretty crazy. This Cali transplant couldn't take that!!
