Azriel, just curious as to what kinds are you hatching? I have silkies, LF B/B/S cochins and bantam Mille Fleur cochins in my bator right now. Some bantams are in the hatcher right now, have one more day to starting to come out - hopefully.

All but 4 of this batch I shipped in, they are BBS Copper Marans, EE, OE, Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, a couple of little banty barnyard mixes, and the ones from my eggs were put in because of the steel blue egg color, they will be EE or OE also.

So we both do shipped eggs. I hate the low hatch rate, but at least I can get varieties that I want but can't find around here. Mine are shipped in except for the Mille Fleur bantam cochins. I bought an adult pair from a gal in Idaho and just add the eggs in the bator as she lays them.

Well, guess what? We have chicks, can not believe it, was floored to come home and see six chicks so far and two out of the next and her sitting there looking at them.

I put her in the top nest and put a gate in front of her. hopefully that will hold her until all are hatched. I'm going to candle the remaining eggs. So we got 2 hatchlings from 2 white eggs, one blue egg, and 2 brown eggs. And one cream colored egg, very light cream color. Wonder what that is ? I'm so happy, chicks ! I will post pictures later

Ohhh, fun fun! Congrats "Mom" I have 14 new chicks running around. They are such a hoot to watch.

lol 14 cute fluffy buts running around how fun . Thanks we are happy though there in lock down as its freezing here and this broody is not the smartest lol. I crated them so they are closer to the heat lamp and mom can not leae them behind. Last ear she did and one died right under the roost from cold. I'm locking her and babies down until we warm up next week.

You know Azriel, those little 1/4 banty eggs that I put in my incubator are all rockstars. Haven't pulled a single one yet 3/4 Marans 1/4 banty Cochin is what they'll be. Should be cute medium sized girls (and all girls, right? hah).

Still no lambs... my feedstore chicks are in that awkward teen stage of half fluff/half feathered. I should get some new pics of them.

My gorgeous splash wheaten OE roo got killed today... *sigh* so I will need to grow out a new OE roo from the bator.

Going to the local poultry club's meeting tomorrow to get some info on the show in May

Question, RoyalT ... Did you give my contact info to that essential oil company you sell for? DoTerra? Cause I just got a call from them soliciting me, and I don't remember anyone asking if it was okay to give them my info. If you did that, it wasn't cool at all.

RoyalT, both of them hatched 1 is a light red/gold, the other one hatched when I wasn't home so I'm not sure which it is. One of the black ones is smaller so maybe thats it. And of course they will both end up being girls.(HaHa)
Some of the eggs from CA. were marked BSL, so I'm thinking Black Sex Link, but as they are hatching I'm getting blues, so I asked the breeder, then the light in my brain comes on. They are Blue Sex Links. They are Soooo pretty, and I think most of them are girls. Yea!!.
I'll try to get some photos when I'm off Wed.

No. I don't give anyone's contact info away EVER, and the company is all independent product consultants, so if anyone called you it was another IPC, not the company itself. I have no reason to share anything, and the main way people get info in this business is if you enter a drawing at a trade show/other event or if you sign in at a class or something like that. I'm not sure why you posted this in the public board instead of asking me personally? But no, I didn't give out your info to anyone.

The red one must be half OE then, maybe I didn't pull Cal soon enough for your eggs? The black one should be a 3/4 Marans =/ And it should be just a little smaller than the regular sized chicks

Here's the thing, and maybe you'll see why I'm aggravated, and then I'll be done discussing it.

My number is registered with the do not call list. That means they can't cold call me.

You're one of exactly 5 people who has that number. I do not give it out to businesses, for any reason. I use my old WV number if I have to give them one.

I have not gone to any trade shows or classes since I've been here with this number. I don't go to trade shows or classes of the sort that have that kind of product around. I have a source for pure EOs that I've been using for several years, and have less than zero interest in that company or its products.

Can you see how I find it strange that you are one of so few to have my number, and the company you sell things for just happens to be calling me now? What are the odds of that just being coincidence? When someone gives a private number out in confidence that it will remain private, it's aggravating to have that trust betrayed.
