checking on top of eggs ....okay, adjusted temp....figured out there were 2 different size bulbs in there...now it has 2 60watts in it, instead of 40/60... oh my driving me crazy!!first make sure check at top of the eggs. temp on still air not the same at all levels...the closer to the heating unit the warmer.
no so far your ok....make sure you have it in a warm room....those were not for outside
to HOT will kill them quick...does it turn off ,or stay heating ? if shutting off adjust thermostat.most counter clockwise increase temp.
ok didnt think of them using light bulbs...now i remember lol....i was thinking heating coil being small watt.
best to start with two new bulbs...if you check on the light bulb package...should tell how many hours....i think 750 hr. is life of the 60 watts.
alway keep bulbs the same , even 75 w will work. that way temp will be more the same,,,,,,The themostat will turn it off....WATCH THEY DON'T GET TO HOT UNTIL you are sure its shutting of at right temp..
oh HAPPY HATCHING
