I am pretty sure my chick’s leg is broken, but I’ve also read it could be a joint issue or vitamin deficiency. He will apply pressure to it, but it looks awful. His leg will go completely backwards. I tried to splint it, but didn’t really have any luck

Welcome to BYC

Has the leg always been crooked? To me it looks like a Leg Bone Deformity. Valgus Varus or Rotated Tibia. These deformities generally cannot be corrected with splinting and often they get worse as the bird gets older.

You can offer 1/4 tablet B-Complex, it won't hurt.
