Hey Sunshine Silkies....my new little splash silkie girl has a sweet personality! I carried her around for an hour at the show and drove home with her in my sweater and she lay there calm and cooperative. She was lonely last night in her cage in the kitchen. I couldn't put her in the coop with the others until I could supervise the transition. So to keep her company, I lay down on the sofa with a towel over me and she snuggled in the crook of my elbow, lay her head across my arm and we both slept for over 2 hours. Do you teach them to suck up to people or does it just come naturally to them....HAHAHAHAHAH! Well, it worked. Thank you for such a good baby.
Sugar Sand Farms....thank you so much for the two silkie chicks you got for Sara! I appreciate your kindness and generosity to her and to my friend Bob who got the 3 black and 1 white Orpingtons.
Fowl Visions.....my friend Caroline was very pleased with your buff orpingtons and big mama brama. Her bantam roo got ALLLLLL EXCITED to see her. We'll see if he can get a date with her or not. Last I heard, he was looking in the barn for a ladder! HA!
Love will always find a way.
Congratulations to Holly! She sold out everything she brought !!
Even though we had a cold day with a colder wind, it was still a very successful swap. Keep putting out the word to all your friends so this will continue to be a profitable monthly event for everyone, both buyers and sellers!
