MONTHLY Swap meet JACKSONVILLE, FLA-----INFO HERE!

I was very happy at the swap today - - - I went with one goal in mind - - find two good, new, homes for my roos.
Misson accomplished ! ! !

I met some nice people today and did not think to get their names or BYC usernames.
Maybe in the future, we could get some cute little BYC name tags - - - That would be a hoot

I got there at 9 and the parking lot was packed. People started packing up and leaving at 10.
My Dh tried to talk me into leaving and I said no no no I was going to hang out until 11.
Both my roos went to new owners before 11.

I love seeing the other animals - - guinea pigs, regular pigs, goats, even plants and furniture were sold.

If you visited a lady who only had 2 roos to sell today - - - would you post a "Hello" so I can place the name and face together

I sold mostly my little bantam Roos today also....... All went to nice homes. I was the one right by the feed store door and the food - little blue S-10 truck, LOL....... I hate being by food - makes me hungry... hehe

Jen (Chicken Zoo), I was the lady who asked you if you brought any speckled sussex today.

I was parked next to somebody in a red pick-up who had her blond haired son with her. I wished I had gotten her name

There was a lady there today with the cutest fluffy face bunny and guniea pigs I have ever seem and I didn't get her name either

I was there this morning and met chickenzoo

I had the red truck parked next to her truck. Had a great time talking with Jen. It had been over a year since I'd been there last and I can say participation sure has grown substantionally.

Sounds like a trick question lololol! Since my birthday is the first week of January and my astrological sign is capricorn....my truck was on the goat side lol. But I was talking to Jen on the pig side lol. (They were nice looking pigs too, I used to raise them many years ago) Sorry I missed you math ace.

I didn't even see Cmom there until she came out of hiding.......... LOL. We all have to remember to wear name tags until we all know each other real well....

I try not to walk around... I'm trying to down size.... I keep reminding myself....... hehe

Sorry I missed this one. I had planned to be there but my mother had a crisis all through the night Saturday evening. I got zero sleep and had to watch her carefully all day Sunday while giving her a new medication. Ever since I brought my 85 year old (both bedridden) parents to live with me I have been struggling just to keep up, day by day. The swap was my only personal fun event all month and I was very disappointed I couldn't come. I hope to see you all at the next one.
