Just a reminder to all that are coming to the Bent Creek show: The Bent Creek folks are generously giving their parking lot, restrooms and time (they open just for us that day) at no charge to anyone. We can thank them by purchasing what we need from them while we're there and cleaning up anything we spilled on their parking lot before we leave. They should not have to clean up after us when they're doing us a favor, right?

A carpenter friend of mine will be bringing single and double nest boxes that are SOOOO cute and reasonably priced too. He'll also have a cool designed feeder that saves space in your coop and uses gravity to refill itself. More chicken accessories to come!

I thought about bringing you an egg so you could see what my girls are laying. . .
I was not sure if you were coming and did not get a chance to pm you.

Dh and I agreed not to bring anything home this time,
but DANG those pigs next to you were almost too much for me to resist.

It is official - - roll back the clocks NEXT WEEKEND

I now have to undo all the rolling I have already done!

I hope we have some cooler weather next month !
I may be ready to part with a few of my hens by then . . .

I know I have one partridge rock POL pullet that if she
doesn't learn to listen better than she does,
she will be one of the first ones on the auction block !
