~*Moonlight*~ (A Wolf RP)

Gemini stretched out as long as she could until she heard the satisfying cracking and popping of her bones. She straightened, looking up at the moon hanging high in the sky, appearing weightless and solemn in the middle of it's halo. Very few stars were in sight, but those that were shing brightly.
She sat, tail curling around her paws as her multicolored eyes fixated on the moon. She stood after several moments, trailing towards the camp entrance. She cast a wary glance at the camp, making sure that no one was wandering about and exited camp into the dull, desolate forest.

Lucien's muscles were burning and aching as he pelted through the forest at top speed, paws barely hitting the ground as he chased after a hare not too far away.
The rabbit shrieked as he came closer, it's scream echoing through the forest as it bounded and leap in it's frantic haste to get away.
His chest was heaving as he gave a mighty leap, landing straight on the rabbits back and snapping it's neck in a clean, swift motion. He pulled back from his kill, panting heavily as he looked down at it. He gave a low, half-hearted triumphant howl, before dropping beside it and digging in.

Kaori ventured out into the forest from the outlands, her ears pricked to every little noise she came across. She suddenly heard a little shriek of a rabbit and lowered her body to the ground carefully and poked her head out between some bushes. She spotted a small, skinny grey wolf feasting upon his catch.
I think I’ve seen him before.. maybe..
Kaori rose from the bushes quietly, with no intent of hurting him or snatching his food, “..Hello” she murmured, her voice low and soft. Just for precaution, she kept her guard up if he tried something.

Lucien was too occupied with his catch to hear or scent the female wolf watching him, his ears against his skull as he scarfed down bites of the prey ravenously.
When he heard a voice, however, he flung himself to his paws in lightning speed, jumping back a good two feet, eyes blown wide and hackles raised. A black she-wolf had crept from the bushes, and stood near him.
"Y-you can have it!" He yelped sharply, his fears kicking in instantly. She looks like the old alpha...
"T-the rabbit's yours! You can take it. I d-don't even n-n-need it!"

Kaori’s golden eyes widened a bit at the male wolf’s sudden movements, it was as if she had just scared a deer. She backed away a few steps, shaking her head , “No no, I just ate earlier, plus.. I don’t take prey from..” wolves that look like they haven’t eaten in a while.. “other rogue wolves..” she finished.

Lucien eyed her warily, creeping forward and snatching his rabbit and quickly stepping backwards, getting a good distance between himself and the strange she-wolf. His body was low as he dropped the rabbit between his paws, hovering over the prey with flattened ears.
Get out of here...what if she wants to trick me? But she doesn't seem like she will...she seems kind... No! No, no! Can't do that. Trusting others is dangerous.
"What do you want?" He growled, his body still low. But it wasn't in a aggressive manner, it was more submissive as he watched her. "Who are you?"

“Nothing really.. I just wanted to introduce myself.. I’m Kaori” she spoke calmly, her eyes glued on the slightly scraggly wolf. “I think I’ve seen you before though... weren’t you in that one pack..?” Kaori asked, questioning her memory.

Star did her best to conceal her surprise that Wild’s reaction hadn’t been more aggressive.
Ice relaxed. "Have you talked to the Alpha yet?"
Elysian also dipped her head to the other wolf. "Honored also, Luna." She murmured, a slight curiosity growing inside her about the pale wolf. Well, at least I'm not just sitting in camp, bored.
"What's it like in your camp?" She asked, curious about how some of the other Packs lived.

It was Cedar's shift to training the younger puppies on the ability of aquatics, as it was one of the keened techniques for the pack to master at. Personally, it was one of the second rank wolf's soft flaws. When observing him educate the future generation, his icy appearance seldom would expose the gentleness rooted in the layers of coldness.

Throughout the warming of the seasons, the river tides would ease down, catering to be safer rather than malicious. One of the most valued times to practice any young wolf to swim.

Firmly, the bulky wolf held within the fluid hurries of the river currents, securely carrying a young pup by the thickness of its scruff. Benevolently he drops the ecstatic young into the icy, gentle currents.

As if it was already implanted, the pup instinctively frantically thrust at the water to hopefully remain adrift.

"Ease your kicking, flow with the current," he mutters a method of education. "I got you, I won't allow you to go under," he whispers soothing confirmation.

(Is he talking to Star or Wild?)
Smoke was patrolling the territory on his own, looking for his sister, Wild, who had gone missing. She’s probably gone off looking for Star, he thought. It’s pointless, really. She’s gone. Wild needs to accept that.
After a while, he heard voices. It sounded like Wild, Star (he stiffened), and someone else he didn’t recognize. He quickened his pace until he was looking right at them. “Hello,” he said stiffly.

Star’s head jerked up. “Hello...”
