So happy for you! Important note... do not worm Lucy with Safeguard during molt as it can cause the new feathers to grow in funny.

That is great news!!! Poor Lucy they can really look pathetic for a while when molting, one year I thought my gander was dieing he would go off by himself and looked so sad. looked like he'd been plucked. Finally he began to come out of it and got all his feathers back and looked like his handsome self again. I am so happy to hear about Moose.Yes! Moose now has her full voice back!!! And, she is eating much better. Lucy on the other hand, is going through a serious, molt! She has lost so many feathers, her wings look like chickens wings fried up! No feathers at all on her wings! Feathers are dropping like flies! Good thing she is a pet, if she had to fly away from danger, she would never get off the ground! She won't even go in the pool because she is so naked!
Enjoy your stay and hopefully Lucy will enjoy a hot tub of water to bathe in.Yes, Lucy is looking in rough shape for sure, and because she won't go into the pool, she is filthy!!! We are going up north today, we always bring them. My up north house has a hot and cold water spiket outside, so I can fill the pool with warm water so maybe Lucy will go in.
