Next thing in my mind:

Sand? or Shavings?

Some of you make the sand sound like a day at the beach. The kitty litter scraping sounds less than fun. Whatever you choose, you still have to muck the yuck out in some way. Sand sounds less dusty. I think I am leaning towards sand, and keep some shavings and hay for their nesting boxes. You still get the waste for the garden.

I wonder how long you can go without replacing the coop sand. How thick do you pile the sand?

You guys are going to get sick of my questions.

Back home, my Grandmother had a cactus growing in hers. My uncle flushed a jello mold down the toilet, back in the 50's.
