I also agree that it looks like a Cochin.

sure if you have pics to compare that'd be great. We already rehomed another rooster so we were hoping we wouldn't have to again.Looks like we may have to. Darn.

While not close up, this one was taken when they were 5 weeks and 3 days old; if you enlarge, you can see the clear difference in comb between the boy and the girl:

I agree with Roo- they come in faster and turn red sooner, than pullets
