Does turning mean turning the eggs over? Turning them on the side? Someone please describe what you do.

Turning eggs is gently moving the egg to the side every few hours or so so the embryo gets nutrition each time. You can move it over as well a few times.

When turning eggs you can mark an X on one side. When you turn it move the X down one time and up the other. Also roll them instead of flipping them end over end.

quaillady and featheredobssesions, pls correct me if i'm wrong. i had the same question before. this is what i found with my research:

first the egg is marked X and O on either side. while egg is sitting on the egg tray with the large end up, with X facing you and the tray is tilted (for example one end is propped by a book), you turn the egg 180 degrees so that now you see the O.

(the same will be accomplished if the egg tray sits on a fulcrum like the see saw and the egg tray is see sawed to turn. one end of tray goes up, the other end goes down, and so forth and so on. this is how i 'turned' my eggs)
