More expensive bator..better?(Updated w/Pics)

OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is great!!!!!!!! Congrats to you. Please keep posting pics of your wheaten/copper blue crosses. I am interested in how they develop.

I am trying to decide what to buy today. I am worried 20 isn't enough, but with hatches that good........maybe that would be enough.

Those babies are so so so cute!

...how did those 20 brabanter eggs get in there

I am not addicted...really....

It takes more than one hatch to break in a new incubator, doesn't it????????

Also, I need more than one hatch to prove it is better than my old top hatch, don't I????

Hmmmm......only five more days until I get to candle the eggs on day 7

I will wait until day 14 to check again. Hopefully, there will be few that show no development

Since the are shipped eggs, I would be shocked if they are all fertile; as shipping usually takes some toll on the fertility of the eggs. So that is why I stated it as I hope that only a few eggs will show no development, as I don't think it is realistic to expect that all of them will show development....

By the way, how is the first hatch going so far in your new sportsman? Couldn't sell my DW on purchasing that large an incuabator....grumbling something about how she didn't want this house to become a chicken factory...
