more photos (and snow storm pics)

We got more snow last night...... so first thing this morning ( BEFORE COFFEE!) I go out with the camera so I can catch the birds still in the trees.

Beautiful photos.

I always worry about my six peafowl who sleep in the highest trees, especially when there's a storm. We had a very rare snow this winter and I was in the stables tending to baby goats and setting up heaters and generators since the power went out and I started hearing these loud "bombs" going off on the top of the metal roof - really sounded like I was being hit by missels. I go outside and look up and see the peacocks all flying out of the nearby trees, landing on the metal roof of the stables, walking around in the snow, sliding down, and going in the stables. I think they just didn't know what to think about snow and decided the stables were warm and dry.

Absolutely hate snow.. but got to say those are incredible pictures.

(btw it snowed 5 feet at my sister's house.. in southern California mountains!)

Thanks everyone. I am glad you liked them... they are some of my new favorites, for sure.
I went a lil crazy with the camera yesterday.... here ya go....

On another thread somone asked about when peacocks mature.... here is a good comparison pic of a 5 yr old BS and a 2 yr old BS males.
