I think its a girl!

wow... I put10 in my incubator this morning. That little one sure is cute. When you incubated yours, what temp/humidity did you use? Also, did you take your lid off after day 4 and mist with warm water until they pipped through their sac and then raise the humidity? I have been hearing some strange things and you obviously did the right thing. Thanks for any advice.

I am new ...this is my first successful hatch...but I had it linger around 55% or so and I did mist and cool but not for 15 minutes..probably just about 5 or 10...towards teh end I just didn't cool anymore...I candled by just putting the flashlight to the egg...did not pick it up and that was the cool down time...probably only 3 or5 minutes...then at the end the humidity stayed around 65%...I got it to 70% once but kept it around 68% after pipping.......thats just me though.>...I actually lost one...so this little one is all by itself...you might want to ask more experienced people on here..'cause I;m a newbie.....

Good luck...

oh temp I tried to keep around 99.5...but this littel one hatched at day 31...

I am not sure yet...I wanted to give her a native american name but my son said he wanted to name her "pony".....

we'll see...

in dakota.... snowbird is "wa-kasansan" love it but can you imagine saying it every time you call her

snowwhite is "wa-seska"

snow is just "wa" (a bit too short right?)

winter is "waniyetu"

white is "ska"

goose is "maga" easiest so far so MAYBE WHITE GOOSE = "Maga Ska" ( in know for white bear its mato-ska so i pressume the same principles apply)

lucky is "wapi"

***OR JUST PONY????

any suggestions?
