That's such a shame, so sorry , have you been giving them niacin along with their feed? niacin deficiency can cause weak legs and neurological problems. you say you had 2 before this one became ill how is it doing?I'm having the same problems with my baby ducks, I've had them for 3 weeks now, kept them inside in a pet carrier( they were hatched outside)....then I moved them outside in the carrier...bedding of shavings changed daily...then we put them in a bigger wire cage outside with roof.. doing well, drinking lots of water eating well...
went out yesterday morning at 10;00 to refill water and feed, doing fine, went out at 12:30. 4 ducks were dead.
only 2 surviving, fed and watered last night, were fine this morning, went out at 6:00 this evening to fill water, 45 minutes later 1 duck is dying with what seems to be like a neurological issue, head back, flipping around..
Can't figure out what caused it all of a sudden, when they were doing so well and gaining weight,
even let them swim a bit in a clean small trough. I just can't figure it out........
