More than 1 a day?

Years ago this phenomenon would occur in our chicken house. If you observe them closely, you’ll notice that each hen according to when she began laying lays at a different time each day. The time is about 20 minutes later for each hen. So it is probably a hen laid early in the day on a longer than usual daylight day and then cycled through her next egg late in the day.
it is possible a late laid egg was missed and she laid early the next morning.
