Hey guys, My recent thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/orphaned-jack-rabbit-kits-help.1190021/, I told you the how I got this Jack Rabbit kit, well he isn't using his back legs. He is pulling himself around with his front legs, and I was wondering, do 7 day old rabbit kits use their back legs to move around. He somewhat moves his back legs a little, he just doesn't use them to get from one part of the box to the other. Thanks in advance.

If it is neurological, B vitamins may help. I think there are liquid vitamins made for babies available. You would give just a tiny bit.

I'm not familiar with jack rabbits, but for rabbits, that is not normal. A rabbit kit toddles around on all four, and stands to nurse. Since leverets are more developed at birth (having fur and open eyes) I would assume they would be at least as well coordinated.
