I almost forgot...this coming weekend there's a Shitake mushroom festival not far from us. We're going to check it out (if this cold rain ever stops). Might be fun to try growing some.

They aren't Morel's but what is? They're still mushrooms!

Ok here's the pic. I opened the bag, rehydrated a handful, fried in butter and had a gastronomical orgasm.
They didn't ship in zip locks, so here is the pound put up in freezer bags.



By my calculations, it should work out to about 8 lbs rehydrated.
