Naughty naughty Jolyn, your opening up for David to burn you. ROFL

its ok you can covert your to a cowboy, it happens really fast.... Just buy a few calves and about 10 horses and lots and lots of birds! He will get the idea real quick like. LOL

I tried that... Horses, cows, dogs, chickens, goats, roping arena, horse trailer & truck. I even bought part of a working cattle ranch! I married a Professional QB - City boy lived in the pent house suite on the 22nd floor, all glass and mirrors with remote control verticle blinds. He likes the animals, lets me go to the PBR Finals every now and then but gets jealous of the Cowboys because no matter how hard he tries he will never be one. You are or you're not. And he's not! He used to ride with me but did not really enjoy it, he just did it for me. He was a great QB and I love him but I guess I'll have to ride by my self.

Who me? Burn someone? You must have me mistaken, my dear.

I just figured it would be, you know, trees and maybe some animals and, well, stuff seen along the trail. Maybe something dead - you know, cool stuff like that...

Somehow, I never put that title together with pictures of them overgrown dogs with people on them. I used to do a lot of riding back in my day. 3-4 times week. I cleaned out stalls and joined the riding club, doing my bit. I liked it, well enough, but I never came to adore the horse, like some people.

Then, when, I lived in France (briefly), I learned that horses were a delicacy, as in tasty. Along with their manure, them doing some muscle job or pullin a wagon, it seemed like as fitting a use as any for them.

But, hey, that's just me. Anyway, nice pics. Thanks for posting.

Not to my experience (I used to ride a percheron X quarterhorse) it was actually very comfortable. More to SIT on, you're not perched on a skinny back.
If anything it might put more strain on your hips.

Well my husbands groin muscles get sore, but only if he hasn't ridden for awhile and then goes for a long ride on her. I PREFER my big mare. ESP if we are bareback she is like riding a big barrel.

I never hurts my knees, but the inside of my thighs get a lil sore, but that is with all riding, you get used to the "stretch" if your riding all the time.

Nice pics of horses and family.

Sorry, but I just have to add... Hubby is certainly fit, but methinks he needs to take some riding lessons! He is sitting all wonky in those shots!
He is leaning back to far, his pelvis is tilted all weird, his legs are to far forward....

By him some lessons for his birthday!
