You still should try to identify if any things around your property are helping the mosquito population.
The mosquito dunks or bits do work. Bats do help. But if you continue having conditions that are favorable to mosquitoes, you'll continue having that problem.
I haven't quite confirmed it but I feel like in my small property, the mosquitoes are probably attracted to the birds I have in the backyard. In other words, their warm bodies are actually what brings the mosquitoes, similar to how the fly trap attracts flies. So I think I can't get rid of mosquitoes that come in and around the yard, but I can reduce the ones growing up and metamorphising on my property.
