Not a bad idea. I might do just a little in a corner box!

Put oil on a very thick piece of paper, or something, so you can remove it if it doesn't go over ...instead of saturating a permanent part of the nest box or coop.

I put a little tea tree and eucalyptus on a bit of hay and attached it to the underside of the hatch (don't know if that makes sense!!). Now I get to wait...

Craftyredhead..did it work? I'm looking for a solution to keep the mosquitoes out of the nest boxes...was going to try lemongrass oil, but I have to find some first.
