I live in Texas and we've had a lot rain lately and now the mosquitoes are getting bad. Do I have to worry about mosquitoes biting my chickens? If so, how do I deal with it.
 
Yes, mosquitos will bite chickens--and spread disease! Spray for mosquitoes, empty any water-containing dishes (for ponds use mosquito eating fish and/or mosquito dunks. Properly maintained swimming pools are okay--the water is filtered and chemically treated--preventing mosquitos from hatching.
