Mosquitos and the coop

Does anyone have any great ideas they are using for mosquitos around the coop? All I want to do is go and hang out with my flock but the mosquitos are unbearable...Taking any and all suggestions!

I hung 4 mosquito traps away from the coop to draw them away. They work pretty good!

There’s a fan out there and I wear repellant-these things are relentless...thinking it’s just all this rain but curious what has worked for others...

I feel your pain. I joke when I go out to check the chickens I am really going out the feed the mosquitos!

I am quite fortunate. My chooks lovveee mosquitoes. They'll pick them off of me from the knees down, and on my shoulders.... because they've decided I'm a walking perch.... lol!

I really don't have too much trouble with them trying to eat me if I'm honest. Maybe because I eat so much garlic, or because I'm often anemic.... I dunno. But I do know the little Thermacells work like a DREAM on the really bad nights. Not crazy expensive and within a couple minutes they'll be gone. Clips on your waistband to walk around with too

A high-powered fan is an excellent solution that always works.
