Mosquitos

We are in an area that gets lots of mosquitoes too... I have been giving my chickens treats mushed up with dried garlic flakes in it. They don't seem to mind the taste and although the moquitos are still around it doesn't seem as though the chickens are getting bitten. I use a tbsp or 2 with scrambled eggs or bananas or whatever treat I have for them that day.

Good luck! We are getting one of those propane powered Mosquito Magnet things and I hope that helps. My kids get eaten up in the middle of the day here

Don't know if this will work but might be worth a try. Bounce fabric softener sheets keep wasps, bees, and flies out of my coop. I have a friend who hangs them from her garden hat to keep the gnats away. She was having to wear a hat with a net attached prior to trying the Bounce sheets.
