It took 8 minutes because I had to hunt for the new can of cocoa. I also added about a half teaspoon of baking powder.

I will always blame Davaroo for this. Always. It took longer to post all this than make it. One dirty mug, fork and measuring spoon. I have a tummy ache from wolfing down hot chocolate cake. It's all your fault Davaroo.

I think it comes out rather dry but then, I am no cook. We put over ice cream and soak the mug for few days!

New microwave? I don't see any mess in that one. Has to be new. Mine only looks like that when first out of the box. Not only am I not much of a cook but I don't clean so well either. Well, okay, the chickie brooders look nice.

Nadine, I just cleaned this morning! I microwave a mug of water 3-5 minutes to power steam everything loose. The cake is my reward for scrubbing and waxing and powerbuffing the kitchen floor.

I will cut back to cook time a little bit to get it moister. Next time.

Wow, sugar = flour and almost = oil in that. That ratio just seems wrong.
