Most of my eggs have 2 yolks!!!!!!!!!!!!

We used to get them all the time with our gold sex links, up until a few weeks ago. We haven't had any recently. Whenever we do and give a dozen eggs to someone, they're always pleasantly surprised!

Our GSL's started laying at 3 months.

Mine would lay doubles quite often until I guess their "cycles" started to mature. I have a golden Lakenvelder that started laying the day she turned 4 months, and it seemed to be her laying all or most of them. I haven't had a double in a long time now, but I have 3 girls that are about to start laying, so we'll see....

Wow that is neat! I have one leghorn that lays a double yolk each spring. In all the years we have had chickens the RIRs and BRs have never layed a double yolk.

Mine started laying on Memorial Day. So far I've counted 9 double yokers. I just had a hard boiled double yolker this morning! Keep them coming girls!

Me neither, but it would stand to reason that it could happen, no? Then again, I can't possible picture two peeps in one shell
