Mother hen issue

I let my silkie hatch her own eggs, we took the chicks away from her after about 5 days and put her back in with the flock. That was about 2 weeks ago. She hasn't laid any eggs yet. Should I be worried?

She's probably still looking for her chicks. Even when they are through with the mothering hormones, which takes more like 4 to 6 weeks, it may be another week before they resume laying.
