Update, just FYI..
Mother hen is looking better. Comb is pinker, she is more active. Let her out of the broody pen for a while - she did "chicken stuff," had a good dust bath, clucked, walked around, pecked - acting pretty normal, and definitely stronger, feeling better. Crop felt okay - bigger than I think it should be, and soft, but not just fluid. Fed her some Flock Raiser while she was separated from the chicks. Maybe she is on the road to recovery from broodiness.
Bumblefoot is acting really good. Will soak, keep wound open, etc.
Barnie with white specks on comb and wattles is looking better, too. Still not 100%, but definitely stronger and the swelling on her face is going down. Maybe she had an allergic reaction to the gnats or mosquitoes? Maybe she got a mild case of fowl pox??? (She either had it or was vaccinated for it last fall. Maybe she didn't get full immunity.)
Box fan hanging in corner of the coop now - maybe will add a bug zapper. Had no idea what I was getting into what we got chickens!
