~**Motorcycle Thread**~ For the Biker in us ....

Take that road trip up here to Michigan.
As an incentive, we now have Shiner Oktoberfest in the stores. Makes me glad it's raining, it's now beer-thirty!

That's what I'm talking about. We are looking at a brewery in every destination city during our trip .. lol. We love to try new and different beers.

Again, come to Michigan. We have Bell's in K'zoo; New Holland Brewery in Holland on the west side and Atwater, Greendragon outside of Detroit.
Plus, microbrew/pubs are growing by leaps and bounds around the state. There are so many that I can't remember off the top of my head...

That might be the only thing good to say about the state. Well, that and the friendliest forum on BYC.

TG-- have a GREAT TRIP...

North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee are my FAVORITE places to ride!
Hiawassee in Northern Georgia is beautful. Take a note of these roads if you will be in Western NC...Wayah Road, Route 28, Route 129 (aka Deal's Gap or Tail of the Dragon), Cherohala Skyway, Foothills Parkway, Route 421 though the Great Smoky Mountain National Forest up to Clingman's Dome at 6,643 feet. Of course any part of the Blue Ridge Parkway..

Have fun and rubber side down!!
A few pictures to wet your appetite :)

Did everyone stop posting for the Fall/Winter, or did everyone get tired of this thread for good?
Well, I just discovered this thread, so I am going to post!
My name is Brat (it says so on the tour pack!) and I brought 2 chickens home on the motorcycle. It wasn't planned, but I can't say I won't do it again. ALL of the fish rode home on the bike, and the last 2 dogs have ridden.
We currently have an '01 EG Classic.

You are not far from my old home town. I lived in Tyrone when I was little. Dad and Mom always took me for motorcycle rides.

I don't know why the thread slowed down.

I lived in Tyrone for 7 years. That is where I got the name Brat.

I moved to Tyrone when I was 19, and just discovering my strong attraction to motorcycles. You know (or related to) Jeff ... I forget his last name. Starts with a "W" and he and Bonnie live on Park Ave.
