MOTTLED COCHIN THREAD~!

I recieved m mottled roo from Amy today. He is really nice!!! I named him Roscoe and can't wait to put him in my mottled breeding pen. But right now I have Napoleon in there and Napoleon is quite a bit bigger.


Not the best pics but will have better ones tomorrow!

Yeah, he is a mess! I picked him up out of the pen where he was happily splashing in mud puddles. I could not believe he wasn't in the coop where it was dry. No, not my silly birds. They have no fear of dirt!

Can you believe they made it to Mike in 24 hours????? I was so grateful!

He didn't show the other goodie he got from me. Though it isn't a Mottled.

Here is Roscoe. It snowed but it all melted so it's muddy out.














The other one I got from Amy was Peppermint! She has been inside since I got her. She helped me upoad the pics onto the computor as well.

Here is a hen I'm breeding Roscoe with as soon as I know he is old enough to breed. She has been laying for 3 weeks now and is in with Napoleon and Peanut Butter.

Oooohhhhh! I can't wait to see what Roscoe and that blue hen make together! Those kids will be fantastic! He may very well carry the blue gene, as well. Or it could have dropped, depending on who his mother was.

All I know is I can' wait to start hatching!! I'm building him a pen right now! I may put her in with him now and just wait a while to hatch.

Very nice! Wish our snow would melt.. we got ice on top of it instead.

We get 3 inches of snow and by nightfall it's melted. I just hope to have snow for christmas!! Haven't had that in 4-5 years. We used to have snow every year.
