Love her type!
We have been rather quiet on this thread for a while.
I keep trying to read and understand double breeding protocol but from all that reading all I am getting is breed your hens to a roo with characteristics they lack and vice verso.
So I took some Mottled pullets that had been laying for a while and put them in with Rascal since they are out of other roos. I still need to take Grant's daughters and his son, Ziggy out of their pen but haven't found the right pen to move them into and so far Ziggy and Grant are happy with the situation. Grant did smack him down one day when Ziggy was dancing for me and then pecked my hand. Dancing for me is okay with Grant but biting the hand that feeds you is quite another. If the boys get along and Grant can teach Ziggy a thing or two I guess I will leave them for now but it won't be long before I will absolutely have to move them around.
Here is a pullet I added to Rascal's pen. She is out of Tonka.

LOVEThis time around when Stella molted out she went wild with her white. She has always been hysterical but this time she is going for snow white. She is in breeding with Rascal.
Two of my ladies that are in with Tonka and have been for more than 6 months. I had thought about showing the one in front but I really don't want to throw them off from any egg laying they may be thinking of doing. Showing is not as important to me as getting eggs I can hatch or sell to someone who wants some of these lovelies.
