This rooster is one year old and I dont see mites. Does this look like moulting or being pecked by the hens?

Anything else that it could be?

He is 1 year old next week.
Diet is chicken feed dry, chicken feed fermented, and mealworm treats.
Indoor coop is 6*6 for 12 birds.
Outdoor coop is 6*20 for the same 12 birds.
We have 8 nesting boxes.
2 roosting bars.
Checked for mites and not seen anything visible.
The other 11 hens look ok and presently don't appear to have this issue. Of the 11, 4 turn 1 y/o next week. The other 7 turn 1y/o late summer.

What type of chicken feed?
Mites are microscopic, the best way to check is to wipe your hand under the roosts at night, if your hand comes back black or red, you have mites.
