moulting

Hi

do chickens moult late May early June, only the coop is full of feathers and I have1 rather bald belly hen? I noticed she was looking bald and red on her tummy but now she has a bald bottom? I have checked for mites and can not see anything and every time I clean them out I sprinkle DE in the nest boxes, perches and floor. there are a few other hens feathers but chicken is losing a lot.

I have a hen molting right now, Palm. She has lost all her tail feathers, and has pin feathers around her face, and her feathers are starting to come back around her wings.

Yes, its probably molting chickens can molt at any time in the year usually Spring or fall.
