I think he tried to kill them cause one it was wild and two its a pest, plus his moms a champ exterminator so its in his blood and instincts

Really though the thing that was shocking was Bobs a nurturer, its in his personality to care for and protect babies, he watched over my sisters chicks 24/7 when we got them so to see him go into kill mode after a baby rabbit was just a little freaky
