I love the chicken feather pictures!

Thanks! Here are some more

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the neighbor's garden ;)

Ha! I was in the road yesterday (pretty typical for me, we live in the middle of no where ;) just a few neighbors.) with some of the chooks, and a lady drove by in a car. My Roos are ssoooooo stubborn so of course they just sat there. The lady stopped while I shooed them across the street and the lady stopped and smiled and said "why did the chicken cross the road?" I figured she must live near because people who stop for chooks in the road usually honk and yell or get out and move em.

lol. We can't free range here because people are ignorant. Two of my cats have been hit by cars and killed... I wouldn't be able to trust people if I let my chooks out.

Awwww that's sad. We share the chooks with our neighbor across the stree, because there are about 40, (due to 9 Roos) we each get about 20 egg a day and they are welcome in both yards/barn and get fed both places, that's why they were in the road :p there are 9 who never leave our barn, 2 Roos and 7 chooks, who are my favorite, my favorites out of the bunch are Romeo a white, cream and brown calico rooster mix (very beautiful) and a bantam mix light brown chook called Millie.
(The 2 sebright cross are gorgeous though)
