Corn and beans growing in our dining room window. I love sitting near the window in this room because there's a view of the sheep and horses. Can't see the chickens from here though. Have to walk to the end of the driveway.

BTW... no room in the garden for these plants... it's full of peppers and tomatoes...

Nice. You could use pots, I've noticed a lot of videos on youtube about growing corn in pots.

they were my little brother's science experiment, so they stared them in glass jars. I transplanted them to coffee cans then and I think I might put them in 5 gallon buckets now, but I don't know.

Ah. Nice, a lot of people say you can't transplant corn but I've found that to not be true.

It does get root bound, but what plant doesn't in a jar? There are eight stalks in there now. Looking forward to picking corn even though I don't like to eat it.

I didn't plant it, so I wouldn't know.
Oh. Well it's either popcorn, sweet corn or dent corn.

Dent corn you can feed to chickens or other livestock after it dries on the stalk. Pop corn or sweet corn are good for people consumption. (Though you could grind up dent corn as well.)
