How so?

they run away when ever I come around. I didn't raise them as chicks which might be it. I try talking to them and feeding them by hand and stuff but they still don't like me.

How long have you had them?
I never had mine as chicks and they're very friendly.

Here's some ways of winning them over:

1. Say a word every time you visit them, like "Here Chooks!".

2. Every time you visit them reward them, with Bread, Mealworm, Cheese and chopped Apple.

By doing this they will learn your voice and relate you with food!

I've found that just sitting with them each day, talking to them and feeding them treats they become super friendly.

I just want them to like me, I feel so unloved....until I go to the dog yard

I'm getting chicks this spring so they will love me! OH what breed(s) should I get. I need large eggs. I already have 7 australorps and I don't want more.
