Holy Crow!!!!!....They are just adorable!!

Ducks have a way of being THE cutest poultry when they are babies!! I mean who couldn't love all that fuzz and those beaks!!! WHY are they just so darn cute!!!

Are you going to get some? One thing I have heard about ducks is they are incredibly messy!! LOL But possibly the cuteness factor will out weigh their messy nature??

No, no ducks...YET!! And the main reason we aren't getting them is because they are messy. I've also heard they are loud. But someday, I WILL get ducks!!

yes on messy. but if you want a quiet duck one word. MUSCVOY. they are quiet. Females lay great eggs and kind of coo/chirp instead of quaking. Males are great meat birds and hiss instead of quaking. They are not the prettiest breed but mine are super sweet

I've had other breeds before and the whole "they are noise thing" depends on how many, what breed, what is going on around them, and stuff like that.

Here are mine. They white one is a male. He's not fully grown.

We used to have ducks but they were not very smart and at night they had to be herded in the coop but there was one duck the male goofy he had to be caught cause he wouldn't go in the coop. Everyday he would stand inside the coop like 5 feet from the door and get a running start to try to fly out he was a flightless duck we learned he however never did.
