Like what hunters do.

Well, that's a hard question.

I think that trapping and killing is really bad and sad. If you are going to kill something then you need a license and you need to go out and do it yourself. I think that trapping animals and then making them suffer the trap (losing limbs, etc) is downright cruel!! My family is big into survival and guns and stuff. So, i can't really say that hunting is super bad because if the time came I would probably do it. But for anything other than survival needs ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I HATE TRAPPING WITH A PASSION!! (live traps like if you are catching a raccoon and plan to let it go that's fine) The animal either dies of blood lost, hunger, dehydration, or freight if they don't chew their own leg or paw off first!!

As for hunting
Hunting for fun= No
Hunting to provide for for your family or sled dogs= Ok
Hunting for fur= No
Hunting for any reason other then providing food for family or survive= No

I'm ok with hunting with they kill the animal instantly. Its cruel to let the animal suffer.

I totally agree with this!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think is absolutely horrible to trap animals, make them suffer and then shoot them. I think that you should either let them go or hunt as long as they are for survival needs.

I am planing to do this for a logic and debate class. Last year i did animal rights. Like testing, factory farms, zoos and circuses and stuff. Oh i found i HATE PETA. they tried to shut down a mushing race!

You are SO LUCKY you can CHOOSE what you do for debate and logic. We are given specific assignments and never get to pick what we do. Nothing has been about animals!

I guess. should post my report from last year lol. My friend (who hunts but i don't think traps and uses all the meat.) did his on bring Black wolves from Canada to the US.

the main prob was that the black wolves are basicaly EVIL and they are breeding with out timber wolves making Evil wolves. We also have some sort of grey wolf.
