So there are eight hens for sale that I plan on buying but, then I will have 15 hens. But I already have stuff for chicks in spring! What do I do?? I'm also worried it might be too much for my current girls. Its getting extreamly cold and adding new birds might be to stressful. To I wait or??

I recommend waiting with past experience unless you have a big spacious coop because those new ones are going to fight with your old ones and they will need there own personal space.

You need to wait. You would have to quarantine the new birds for at least three weeks which will be hard to do in the cold. Then you have to introduce them very carefully using a specific method which again, could take another three or more weeks. Then they will fight and when they are cold, they are more stressed. You should wait until spring. Trust me, you'll be stressed and so will your birds if you get them now.
