This morning I was heading to the barn when I heard a horrible screaming noise coming from down in the woods and the dogs were going crazy. I went running down to my bachelor pen thinking one of my roosters was being dragged away, but they were all fine. Then I noticed that
the young duccle hen that's been free ranging around the house was missing, so I started looking for feathers, but then I fond her laying an egg in one of my chicken tractors. I'm not missing anyone else, so the screaming noise must have been a rabbit or something getting attacked. That was my big excitement for the morning.
