We had 100 MPH winds earlier this year. You could literally walk diagonally!

I want to be friends with some of the dudes in my class but I feel socially awkward talking to them with out the entire class around. How do I talk to one with out making him or anyone else think I have a crush on the dude? I want to hang out with them because most of the guys are fun and awesome to hang out with. All my other guys friends I have either been introduced to though another person or they have came up to me. And its not like I can say "I don't have a crush on you" because then they think I do
