I have some I started like that last Monday sending out sprouts, well actually I put mine in a damp paper towel and put that in a ziplock bag I had all but one sprout in five days.

Also, I'm kinda an inadvertant plant-killer, no matter how much I love that plant.

Whoa. I would do it, but my family doesn't really eat citrus all that much, so I don't really have an excuse to go buy some oranges only to mas murder them for their seeds.

Go for grapefruit (what I currently have going) or lemons, your way more likely to find seeds in them then in oranges. Oh and don't let the seeds dry for more than a day or to as it decreases their germination rate, I have some that got the exact same treatment except they dried for about a week and they still have sent out roots (and their in their second week now)

Yeah! Unfortunately it can take over ten years for most citrus to produce fruit if grown from seed.
