So true. I hate how society nowadays tells you that if a guy is "being nice/a gentleman" he's flirting with you! Can't we just understand that there is such a thing as mannerisms? My brother, for example, is probably the most polite boy I know and really knows how to be a gentleman. Sometimes my friends come up to me and ask "Does your bother have a crush on me? Because he opened the door for me this morning!" I just think to myself no! He was just being polite!
That's true

My olive trees
First one

Second one

Both. As you can see the first one is quite a few inches taller than the second, even though the second is straighter and not as twisted as the first.

And all potted up into 5 gallon pots and tied to stakes to help them grow straight

And while I'm at it I thought I'd show you my artichoke seedlings I started. I'm really excited about them!

Awesome!

Is she doing worse?

No she's just preventing herself from healing!

We wrapped her hock joint (where she is most sore currently) with some purple wrap and an a slice of onion. (In case you don't know, onion helps reduce swelling and aids in healing in humans and animals.) BUT with how she lays on the ground, she forces the wrap to slide down near her ankle area. Ugh! We've tried everything to keep it up there!

Will the onion work if there isn't an open wound? It may not work anyway if there's feathers and scales blocking it. Unfortunately, chickens don't like people putting things on them, so it's hard

Hopefully you can get it to work.

Yup, we normally put onion on our own wounds when we just have a bruise.
This last time we wrapped it, we pushed those feathers up so it was just on her joint. But, it's just in such an awkward place that it's so hard to wrap.
