Same here. I mean, we've put a Halloween costume on the dog, for a picture here and there, but no longer than a few minutes. I hate that too. It happens with so many kids wanting pets for Christmas, then they can't be bothered to look after them. It happens with baby animals too. People buy the babies, then, when they "lose their cute", they get rid of them.I agree! I would rather have a poodle with a crazy haircut than a dog in clothes. I also hate how children are surprised with dogs on Christmas or their parents give them one just because they said they want one and then the whole responsibility is forced onto them then the dog ends up in the shelter. The only time I got a dog in a sudden time was because I found it on the streets with a injured paw and about to starve to death.

Luckily, most pet shops here make sure no one is allowed to buy pets for Christmas, Easter, etc.
