I'm going to fix up our chicken area this Spring/Summer and make it look all nice, so I can work towards adopting two ex-battery hens. My Mum says maybe, which probably means yes (if I work hard and show her how much this means to me). My Dad says no, but I don't care what he thinks. 
I want to finish fixing up the coop, the chicken area and such, before I get anymore chickens.
I think two more chooks, who deserve good lives, would make an excellent addition to my mini flock.
You know, it really upsets me, seeing all those chickens that were abused, then rescued and now needing homes. I think, even if I adopted just two, that would make a difference. Those two chooks would have happy lives, filled with treats and hugs and chicken stuff. :3
