I got a few new 'pets' the day before yesterday! They are ants! Unfortunately I don't have a queen for my workers (yet).
remembering the shows/movies where the "home" for the ants gets broken and the ants are everywhere 
You should have seen the spider we killed in the garage the other night
its body alone was bigger than a quarter. We've had these creepy huge spiders around here the past year or so. I shut the chicken coop door sometime last year and big spider must have been on the top of the door, it got flung down onto my chest. I literally was paralyzed and went mute for a few minutes... I did brush the spider off then and my brother chopped it with a shovel once I showed it to him. (it was THAT big!)
