The little sparrow has bleeding on the brain. I don't think he's going to make it. We've made him comfortable and given him some water. He's warm, in my Mum's room. The swelling could go down, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

It is always so upsetting for me to save an animal and it die. We saved a white tail deer fawn frow drowing once in flood waters. She must have had worms though and died
It was so sad. The mother must have left her behind though because she knew she was sick...
We also had a finch here one time. It ran into a window and was stumbling around. We all were holding it, but my dad accidentally let go and she flew all through one of the rooms in the house. It must have just taken her a few minutes to recover.
Another time there was a baby bunny. The cutest thing. Cat caught it and was getting ready for a feast. We saved the little one and marked its ear and let it go. I saw it once more that year as an adult, but I haven't really seen it since.
