Oh that's great! I had a baby wood pigeon once, feed it soaked cat food. He lasted until a heat wave.... I think he was sick to begin with though.

Pigeons aren't really meat eaters, so maybe the cat food wasn't right for it. :/
We feed this pigeon peas and crushed seed, made into a pulp, then rolled into small balls, and popped in his(?) mouth. He likes them a lot. XD
We usually inject water straight into the animals mouths, but this time we just dipped his beak in a bowl and he drank himself!
